ACROPOLIS AND MARS’ HILL (4 hrs)
Enjoy a tour of Athens including a sightseeing drive viewing the highlights of the modern city and visits to the Acropolis and the Mars' Hill (Areopagus) where the Apostle Paul preached to the Athenians (Acts 17:22).
CORINTH CANAL – ANCIENT CORINTH – CENCHREA (5 hrs)
Drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to the historic Corinth Canal, a short photo stop. Arrive at ancient Corinth (Acts 18:1-18). It was to this megalopolis where the Apostle Paul came, worked and established a thriving church, subsequently sending two of his epistles, now part of the New Testament. Visit all the sites associated with his ministry. Before returning to your ship we will view from the bus the ancient port of Cenchrea.
FULL DAY ANCIENT CORINTH AND ATHENS (8 hrs)
Visit the site of Ancient Corinth, home to the Apostle Paul for 1½ years (Acts 18:1-18) and the ancient port of Cenchrea. Then on to Athens to see the highlights of the city including visits to the Acropolis and Mar's Hill, where the Apostle Paul preached to the giants of philosophy, logic and learning (Acts 17:22).
ATHENS – ACROPOLIS – PLAKA (4 hrs)
Climb up to the marble-capped Acropolis and visit the famous Parthenon and the Erechtheion. Enjoy a panoramic bus tour viewing the highlights of modern Athens. Finishing at Plaka, the picturesque district of Athens, for a walking tour and some free time to shop or explore.
ATHENS – ACROPOLIS - NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM (8 hrs)
Climb up to the marble-capped Acropolis and visit the famous Parthenon and the Erechtheion. Enjoy a panoramic orientation bus tour viewing the highlights of modern Athens. Continue to visit the National Archaeological Museum, which contains an outstanding collection of masterpieces from excavations throughout Greece.
ATHENS – ACROPOLIS – SOUNION (9 hrs)
Climb up to the marble-capped Acropolis and visit the famous Parthenon and the Erechtheion. Enjoy a panoramic orientation bus tour viewing the highlights of modern Athens. Drive along the picturesque coastal road, passing by many beautiful sandy beaches and countless coves. A crowning feature of the tour is Cape Sounion, famous for its radiant sunsets, dominated by the Doric white marble Temple of Poseidon that overlooks the blue Aegean Sea.
ACROPOLIS SITE AND MUSEUM – PLAKA (8hrs)
Our excursion begins with the marble-capped Acropolis and the famous Parthenon and the Erechtheion. Continue to the magnificent Acropolis museum and enjoy a panoramic bus tour viewing the highlights of modern Athens. Tour ends in Plaka, the picturesque district of Athens, for a walking tour and some free time to shop or explore!
