Start our full day tour with a drive to Nazareth, the city described as the childhood home of Jesus in the New Testament (Matt 2:19-23). We will see Mary’s Well, reputed to be located at the site where the Archangel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced that she would bear the Son of God, an event known as the Annunciation. We view Joseph’s Church, built over the carpentry workshop of the husband of Mary. Also visit the Basilica of the Annunciation. Then we take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee at the Ancient Boat Museum. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus is believed to have delivered the Sermon on the Mount.
