PASSPORT-VISAS-HEALTH FORMALITIES
All participants must have a valid passport for at least six (6) months (from the date of their return to their home country) with the appropriate tourist visa for the destination and/or transit country. It is the responsibility of the passenger to have the necessary documentation in their possession before traveling. It is also the responsibility of the participant to consult the appropriate consulate(s) for information on passport requirements. If the participant is unable to be on the trip or part of the trip due to the absence of the documents required, they are obliged to cover any additional costs involved at their own expense.
It is the participant’s obligation to have all necessary medication and prescriptions with him during his travels and to take all medical precautions such as necessary vaccinations before travelling according to the instructions given by the World health Organization. However, due to frequent local epidemic changes and medical privacy of every participant, each participant has the responsibility to address this issue with competent local health authorities for accurate information.
IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING FROM THE USA OR NON-EU COUNTRY
At the moment, there is no Europe visa waiver for U.S. citizens for periods of less than 90 days. However, this will change by the end of 2022, when American citizens traveling to Europe from the U.S. will require an ETIAS visa waiver to travel to any of the Schengen zone countries for short stays.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
ARISTOTLE TRAVEL Ltd strongly recommends that all passengers/guests are insured for medical expenses, baggage loss or damage and trip cancellation or interruption prior to the commencement of the trip.
This is the responsibility of each individual and/or group tour participants.
GOVERNMENT LICENSED TOUR GUIDES/TOUR MANAGER/ TOUR ESCORTS
Aristotle Travel always provides a government licensed professional tour guide for your visits to the archaeological sites and museums. The tour guide will also act as a tour manager on multiple day tours handling all logistics and insuring the smooth running of the trip. If you decide not to have a local guide with your group you will need to obtain a special guiding permit from the ministry of culture in Greece as it is forbidden to guide groups in the archaeological sites or in the museums without this permit.
Aristotle Travel highly suggests that all groups employ the services of an Aristotle Travel Tour Escort for cruises and field trips out of Greece to handle all logistics and take responsibility for the smooth and successful handling of any unforeseen problems en route. If you decide not to take an Aristotle Travel Tour Escort on your cruise or field trip you must choose a responsible member from your group to fulfill this function.
