Ephesus (3hrs)
Starting from the port of Kusadasi, we will drive to Ephesus (Acts 18:19-21). Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings. We will see the impressive Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater. Drive back to Kusadasi port.
Ephesus - Artemission Temple - The House of Virgin Mary (4hrs)
Upon arrival in Izmir, we will drive to Ephesus (Acts 18:19-21). Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings. We will see the impressive Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater. Continue to the House of Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. Last stop is at Artemission Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Return to Kusadasi port.

Enjoy a full day tour of Ephesus (Acts 18:19-21). Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings. We will see the impressive Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater. Continue to the House of Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. We will then visit St. John’s Basilica, which stands over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. Last stop will be at Artemission Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world before we return to the port of Kusadasi.
Ephesus - Sirince Village (5hrs)
Depart from Kusadasi port to Ephesus (Acts 18:19-21). Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings. We will see the impressive Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater. After the visit, we will drive up to Sirince, a Turkish-Orthodox village, located on the top of a mountain, from where you can enjoy the impressive view! Walking through the narrow streets, you will see women selling handcrafts of all kinds and olive oil.
