Day 1 –Amman Arrival:
Upon arrival at Amman International Airport, a representative of Aristotle Travel will meet and assist you with your transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 –Amman, Jerash, Ajloun, Pella, Um Qais:
Our itinerary in Jordan starts with a tour of the Greco-Roman city of Jerash, where we will see Hadrian’s Arch, and visit the Temples of Zeus and Artemis, Grand Forum, Cardo Maximus, Roman Theatres, the Mile-Long Street of Columns and several churches that were found in the area. Next we visit Ajloun and the castle that was built there by one of Saladin’s Generals. Continue to Pella, touring several recently excavated ancient structures, including churches, aqueducts, tombs, gates and public buildings. The final stop on the tour today is Um Qais, known as Gadara in Roman Times.

Day 3 – Madaba, Mount Nebo, Dead Sea:
First stop on the tour today is the Christian town of Madaba, where we visit St. George’s Apostle Church, housing the earliest original mosaic map of the ancient Middle East. Continue to Mount Nebo, where we visit the church where Moses allegedly first saw the Promised Land. Next stop is the Dead Sea, where you’ll have an opportunity to relax in the sun and enjoy the purifying qualities of the water.

Day 4 –The Dead Sea:
Spend a full day relaxing, sunbathing or swimming in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea.

Day 5 –Petra:
The tour continues today to the “Lost City” of Petra, where we see the Treasury, Roman Theatre, Royal Tombs, Courthouse, Triumphal Arch and the Street of Facades, in addition to other temples and water cisterns. We climb the stairs to the High Place of Sacrifice for a spectacular view of the entire ancient city, before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 –Aqaba:
Transfer today to Aqaba for a full day of leisure, swimming, sunbathing or water sports. Optional tour is offered in the Red Sea, viewing its magnificent corals from a glass-bottom boat in the Aqaba Gulf.

Day 7 – Aqaba:
Enjoy a full free day at Aqaba. Optional excursions to the Pharaoh’s Island in Egypt, to Wadi Rum, or you can spend time at leisure by swimming, sunbathing or shopping.

Day 8 – Departure:
Transfer to Aqaba airport for your departure flight through Amman.
